In addition, you can assign each new item to the proper department, set the minimum and maximum quantities you wish to carry, and determine the desired margin. When the application displays a notice that a cost has changed you can enter a margin that meets your expectations in the Margin field, electronically transfer the new and modified items and prices to the POS price book, and print new shelf tags for them. Often these activities can be completed before the products are stocked.
