VeriFone Ruby Supersystem/Topaz
The V-PollWin Interface retrieves the fuel and nonfuel sales data generated by the VeriFone Ruby or Topaz systems.
Programmable parameters include U.P.C., PLU, Grade Prices, Softkey, and Feechrg files. This programming function lets the user adjust item prices from the back office.
Onsite, data can be passed between the console and PC using a direct connect cable. Offsite, it can be passed using a pair of telephone modems. Information is sent and received instantly.
V-PollWin stores data in an ASCII file. With this information the operator can create custom reports using other application programs.
V-PollWin may be scheduled to enable the polling process to be activated automatically, allowing unattended polling. You set the time you need the data polled and the program does the rest.
Once polled, the data can be posted to the Computerized Daily Book™, the most complete daily book program in the industry, or retrieved in ASCII file format to be used with other applications.
Volume and money totals, by cash and credit, and fuel inventory reports are among the information that can be polled.
