Innovative Features Drive Your Profitability
Version 1.3 marks a significant step forward in the evolution of Fuel Marketer, reflecting a focused effort on the part of SSCS to further drive customer efficiency and profitability. Aligned to the needs of fuel resellers/distributors, the re-engineered Fuel Marketer possesses a feature-rich interface that is simple to maintain and easy to use. Program highlights include:
- Assistance with adjustment of fuel costs when a terminal is changed for a given delivery, making it faster and easier to reference the location of the most favorably priced product. Purchasing decisions then can be expedited based on the best profit margin or the lowest price to the customer.
- Precise identification, application and tracking of complex tax schedulesendemic to the fuel reselling business, including:
- the calculation of taxes on amounts already taxed (“tax on tax”)
- taxation by quantity (for products such as grease and oil)
- taxation by percentage of sale (for package goods)
- Complete integration with CDBWinTM:
- Seamless transition to back office A/P and A/R functions, including the posting of invoice information.
- Easy creation of financial documents such as income and expense statements.
- Export of commissions on fuel orders to the appropriate employee record.
- Data export from CDBWin to selected accounting programs.
- Export of package goods records to support inventory management.
- Easy tracking of freight charges.
- Importing of DTN invoices from which a pickup record can be created directly, streamlining the reconciliation process and saving hours determining what has been picked up and what has been paid. Exception reporting identifies issues related to the import process, such as:
- terminal mapping, product mapping and tax mapping
- tax variances
- Convenient comparison of hand-entered invoices to their DTN file counterparts
- Broadcasted price updates to customers, several times a day, as terminals revise their pricing schedules. Notices containing the effective date and time of pricing can be sent with the click of a button to multiple users.
- Easy-to-use “Pickup” and “Delivery” tabs reduce the number of keystrokes required to complete transactions.
- Fuel surcharges broken out as separate line items on the customer’s invoice when fuel is sold. These surc harges accumulate in their own account in the Asset and Liabilities part of the CDBWin back office, providing a reliable audit trail for collected money.
- Package goods feature helps you manage inventory of such items as filters, grease and oil.
- Inventory tracking for fuel wholesalers with storage tanks, allowing operators to track fuel inventory to the last drop.
- Association of multiple pickups with one delivery, one pickup with multiple deliveries, and multiple pickups with multiple deliveries for clear, accurate tracking of complex orders.
