The Call Taking tab for Digital Dispatch. By typing
basic information you can track and dispatch the call to alphanumeric cell phones, one- or
two-way pagers, or mobile data terminals (MTD’s) and complete the billing; place the vehicle in
storage and complete the towing and storage billing; and interface this information to our
Computerized Daily Book program for accounts receivables, accounts payables, and complete
balanced daily books including an Income and Expense Statement. |

This is the Dispatching tab. There are three windows open at all times for
the dispatcher to monitor the status of the calls. Not Dispatched calls are waiting to be dispatched
(10-8). Dispatched calls are waiting for confirmation that the driver is in service (10-97). The 10-97
window displays the calls that are in-service and waiting to be completed. Calls cascade from one
window to the next based on activity of the operator. When the call is complete, it drops off the
Dispatch tab and becomes a permanent part of the call records. |
