Salinas, CA (July 21, 2009) -- Service Station Computer Systems, Inc. (SSCS) is pleased to announce a new instructional series called Advanced Training Webinars, crafted to expand the skills of users already proficient with SSCS software, including its flagship back office system, the Computerized Daily Book (CDB).

Advanced Training Webinars combine the convenience of Internet-based training with the effectiveness of one-on-one instruction. Using a secure broadband connection, students connect to a server running a version of a specified software module. The SSCS instructor operates the program remotely, guiding the audience through its features. Verbal instruction occurs concurrently via the phone. Classes are scheduled at the convenience of the student.

Training program content was developed based on input from SSCS’s customer base. “The Computerized Daily Book is a powerful tool with lots of features, but often our users are too busy to unlock its full potential,” explains SSCS Vice President of Sales and Marketing Al Stoeberl. “Advanced Training Webinars provide an efficient, cost-effective way for users to get an in-depth understanding of the features they choose. Students can transform themselves from efficient users to power users.”

Any SSCS customer who has taken initial CDB training from an SSCS certified trainer and is running the most recent version of the CDB is eligible for Advanced Training. SSCS offers the following topics:

● The Four Ways to Create and Record a Purchase
● Inventory Control: Sales, Purchases and Physical
● Physical Inventory: Process, Adjustments and Reports
● Mix and Match and Combo (Multi-Item) Promotions
● Creating Reorders Using CAO, EDI and the Hand-Held Terminal
● Price Change/Item Adjustment
● Expensing Waste Items to Improve Inventory Control
