Version 1.4.5 - 4/16/2008
- Users can now easily add fuel service charges to a call from the "Call Taking" tab. This is a two-step process:
- In CDBWin, set up the fuel service charge in CDBWin (on the Setup menu, click Service).
- In Digital Dispatch, on the "Call Taking Tab," click Service Totals, select the fuel service charge from the Service charge ID combo box, select the services to apply the service charge to and click Add Selected Service Charges.
- Comments now can be added to posted calls in both the "Call Taking" tab and the "Storage" tab, regardless of user restrictions. This allows for consistent recording of follow-up activity. Restricted users can add only, not
edit.
- Call Type is now available as a reference in the "Call Taking" tab. Enter Call Types through the "Setup" tab (on the "Setup" tab, click Call Taking Setup > Call Types). To apply one to a call, select it from the Call Type, combo box in the "Call Taking" tab.
- The Call Info report now includes discounts applied on service items. On the "Call Taking" tab, click Print > Call Info.
- The call Invoice now includes discounts applied on service items. On the "Call Taking" tab, click Print > Invoice.
- To allow for more precise billing, decimal values entered into the Actual Distance and Contract Distance boxes now flow down to the Service Profile service quantities. Decimals are rounded to one place (2.375 is rounded to 2.4, for example).
- When cancelling a call from the "Call Taking" tab, the 10-98 timestamp sets to the current time. On the "Call Taking" tab, while displaying an active call, click Cancel.
- On the Map (Globe) menu, available from both the "Call Taking" and "Dispatch" tab, the menu selection
Directions from Shop to Location has been added. To use this feature, the shop’s GPS coordinates must first be added through
Dispatch Setup (on the "Setup" tab, click Dispatch Setup > Options > the "GPS" tab > type
Shop latitude and Shop longitude).
- Added a PO # box to the 10-98 window. On the "Dispatch" tab, click
10-98.
- Added an option to Print reports (Call Info and Invoice)
from the 10-98 window, making it convenient to print while clearing a call. On the "Dispatch" tab, click
10-98.
- Digital Dispatch no longer removes the RAP call flag when the call record contains an invalid VIN. On the "Dispatch" tab, click
10-98.
- Added a PO # box to the "Storage" tab that can be used to search on storage and/or call records.
- If a Lien Fee has been applied to a storage record, its description now displays next to the Lien Fee dollar figure on the storage invoice. On the "Storage" tab, click
Preview Invoice or Print Invoice.
- The Storage Invoice now includes the sales tax from the original call in the Sales Tax total. On the "Storage" tab, click
Preview Invoice or Print Invoice.
- Non-zero $ Collected amounts are now sent to the D/2000 when the call is cleared. On the "Dispatch" tab, click
10-98.
- On the "Reports" tab, the Starting Date and Ending Date boxes now accept the typed time of day in
hh:mm:ss format in addition to date, allowing reports to be narrowed to a time frame within a day.
- Added a Historical Inventory filter for the Lot Inventory report. When selected it shows all vehicles for the selected date range, not just those currently
on the lot. When this filter is activated, current totals cannot be viewed and a Date Out column is added to the report. On the "Reports" tab, click Lot Inventory.
- Added a Call Receipt # to the Lot Inventory report for users with accounts that require it as a reference. On the "Reports" menu, click Lot Inventory.
- RAP calls can now be filtered out of the Elapsed Times and Time Taken reports by clearing the
Include RAP Calls check box. This enhances report performance. On the "Reports" tab, click
Elapsed Times or Time Taken.
- The Default Clearing Code entered through the "Setup" tab is now placed on new calls when they are first entered
into Digital Dispatch. Previously this did not happen until
the 10-98 window was displayed for the first time. On the "Setup" tab, click Dispatch Setup > Options.
- Three new pieces of information can be transferred to the driver's text messaging device: PTA (Promised Time of Arrival),
BillToIDBusinessName and VINum (VIN). On the "Setup" tab, click Messages Setup > Options > the "Send Call Info" tab.
-
- A text box for Time zone hours adjust has been added to the Messages Setup
window for Teletrac. This allows SSCS to update calls for customers running
on GMT-based servers. The number of hours typed here, plus or minus, will be added or subtracted to incoming timestamps from the Teletrac eClient interface. On the "Setup" tab, click
Messages Setup > Options > the "Teletrac GPS" tab.
- Send Service Money Amounts to D/2000 and Send Service Money Extended Amounts check boxes are now available in D/2000 Message Setup. Clearing these check boxes prevent
the dollar and extended dollar amounts of mapped services from being transferred, which is required by some clubs. The service and the quantity will still be transferred. On the
"Setup" tab, click Messages Setup > Options > the "D/2000" tab.
- The Import function of the Club Tag Reconciliation window now handles the new eStations Final CPMS Statement HTML format. On the "Setup" tab, click
Club Tag Reconciliation > Import.
- Service Profiles can now be adjusted on the Club Tag Reconciliation window, allowing additional flexibility for the reconciliation process. On the "Setup" tab, click
Club Tag Reconciliation.
- Contract Distance can now be adjusted on the Club Tag Reconciliation window, allowing additional flexibility for the reconciliation process. On the "Setup" tab, click
Club Tag Reconciliation.
- The PO # field for non-club calls now transfers over to CDBWin when the call is posted, making the closing process easier to administrate. On the "Setup" tab, click
Post to CDB.
- The Post Up to Date box in Post to CDB now defaults to the last date typed. This helps prevent the premature posting of today’s or other in-progress calls
because it requires the user to make an entry first. On the "Setup" tab, click
Post to CDB.
Version 1.4.3 - 6/1/2007
- New Service Profiles feature allows the user to set up groups of services and, when applicable,
the distance breakpoints that affect billing rates for the tow call types grouped under that service.
This reduces the number of tow service lines to have to be manually typed into the billing information
part of the "Call Taking" tab; simply select a service profile and all appropriate service descriptions
and attached charges populate. On the "Setup" tab, click Call Taking Setup > Service Profiles.
- New Service Default feature works with Service Profiles to help Digital Dispatch automatically
select the Service Profile most suited to the call. The selection is based on information either entered
manually into the "Call Taking" tab or captured automatically from the D/2000 to populate in the "Call
Taking" tab. The suggested profile for a call is made using any (or all) of the following user-defined
criteria: Agency, Club, Contract Station ID, Member Type, Bill To, Clearing Code and Trouble Code. On the
"Setup" tab, click Call Taking Setup > Service Defaults.
- The Service Profile attached to the call (see first bullet) now displays in the "Call
Taking" tab as a list box item. This list box makes available all current Service Profiles allowing
the user to see or change the profile (and attached services) applied to the call.
- A button has been added in the "Call Taking" tab that, when clicked, will suggest
the best Service Profile for a manually entered call based on the call information input so far.
- Billed Distance is now broken out separately from Actual Distance on the "Call Taking"
tab. This was done because, in the case of certain calls, the two may be different (due to billing mileage
based on a pre-determined fixed location rather than actual truck location, etc.). Changing the Contract Distance
on the "Call Taking" tab will directly affect the mileage-based charges in the Bill To section of the tab.
- On the "Call Taking" tab, the call’s ZIP code label now displays in blue if it has been defined as
a required field on the "Setup" tab by clicking Dispatch Setup > Options > the "Required Fields" tab.
- Entry of Canadian Postal Codes is now allowed.
- The AAA CPMS Final Reconciliation posting to CDBWin now uses the Bill To ID from the call being
reconciled instead of the contract station’s default Bill To ID for improved billing relevance. Additionally,
calls on the CPMS Final Reconciliation report that are not found in Digital Dispatch are now treated as "No Open Charge" calls.
- Club Call # has been added to the Dispatch Cleared Calls window. On the "Dispatch" tab,
click Cleared Calls.
- The "Storage" tab no longer allows storage records to be marked as "Invoice Printed" if
the status in the Release Info section of the tab is set to Suspense. Therefore, a release status besides
Suspense must be selected before printing the final storage invoice and releasing the vehicle is allowed. This ensures
a valid vehicle release and the prevention of mistakenly "locked down" storage records.
- The Bill To report now includes the call’s Receipt #. On the "Reports" tab, click Bill
To.
- Calls that have no truck assigned to them are now included on the Call Services report. In addition,
this report now includes the call’s Receipt #. On the "Reports" tab, click Call Services.
- The Dispatch Log now displays the entire VIN #. On the "Reports" tab, click Dispatch
Log.
- Club Call Quick Entry report now includes Quantity, Amount, $ Collected and Canceled/Not Cancelled
status for line items. In addition, grand totals for $ Collected and Charges are included at the bottom of the
report. On the "Setup" tab, click Club Call Quick Entry > select a call > the Report icon.
- Areas setup now allows for entry of area names up to 25 characters long. On the "Setup"
tab, click Location Setup > Areas.
Version 1.4.2 - 1/7/2007
- Current GPS truck locations for @Road devices are now polled every two
minutes.
- In the "Dispatch" tab, the dispatching truck/driver menu now has more
room for the driver's name.
- Restrictions have been added for deleting invoices. On the "Setup" tab,
click Security Setup > Restrictions > the "Group" tab and
scroll down to Storage, Delete.
- The Comments report can now be filtered by Contract Station ID (on the
"Reports" tab, click Comments).
- The Elapsed Times report filter now includes an Include Canceled
Calls? check box (on the "Reports" menu, click Elapsed Times).
- The License # column on the Agency report has been widened to display
longer license plate numbers (on the "Reports" menu, click Agency >
View or Print).
- Taxes are now included in the Bill To report totals (on the
"Reports" menu, click Bill To > View or Print).
- A different default Bill To or Default Service may now be specified
based on the agency (Club ID) for a AAA call. First make sure the desired
club types are mapped to an agency (on the "Setup" tab, click Messages
Setup Options > the "D/2000" tab > Mappings > the "Club Types"
tab). Next, select Agency Defaults for each desired contract station and set
up the new Default Service and Bill To for each agency (on the "Setup" tab,
click Messages Setup Options > the "D/2000" tab > Contract
Stations > Agency Defaults). If these combo boxes are left blank, the normal Default
Service and Bill To for D/2000 calls are used.
- Driver IDs that are provided by the D/2000 may now be ignored. On the
"Setup" tab, click Messages Setup Options > the "D/2000" tab and
click the Ignore driver ID (line-up #) from D/2000? check box. This
is for users that have trucks without Club MDTs in them, in those cases when
the Club is changing driver line-up numbers every day without notifying them
and the # in Digital Dispatch’s driver setup feature is not being used.
- The ezLien export now exports the vehicle value amount instead of the
cost of the lien (on the "Setup" tab, click Storage Setup (Liens) >
the "Lien Export" tab).
Version 1.4.1 - 11/28/2006
- Added filter to "New Messages" tab that allows user to control the
message display
using specific criteria (for example, Cleared Calls,
Canceled Calls, etc.).
- Added Tax check box to the "Call Taking" tab. Selecting the check
box permits taxes to be applied on a per call basis (driven by rules for
taxing items as set in the Department Setup feature of CDBWin). Clearing the
check box turns off taxes in Digital Dispatch on normally taxable items, a feature useful
for resale customers or government agencies exempt from sales tax.
- A Comments setup feature is now available (on the "Setup"
tab, click Call Taking Setup > Comments). Comments typed here
can be recalled from the Comments box of the "Call Taking" tab by
typing the first few characters of the comment.
- Added a $ Collected column in the "Dispatch" tab that
displays the
dollar amount to be collected for each call. When the $ Collected
amount for a call in this read-only text box is greater than 0, the Club Call # displays in green.
- RAP calls are now identified with a label ("RAP") that appears
next to the Club Call # box on the "Call Taking"
tab. A RAP check box to identify RAP calls has been added to the "Dispatch"
tab, where the Club Call # now displays in red for RAP calls.
- Digital Dispatch now processes those D/2000 call
numbers with two different contract stations as two different calls. This allows contractors who have more
than one contract station ID to record the movement of D/2000 calls from one
station to another. The first stored record in Digital Dispatch is for the portion run by the first contract station.
The second stored record is for the contract station that finished the call. (Typically the
first call will be canceled when movement to the second occurs, though it can be
"un-cancelled" if the first contract station ID did enough work on the call
to warrant partial payment.)
- Added the ability to map D/2000 RAP clubs to agencies in Digital
Dispatch allowing the dispatcher to know for which RAP club (agency) the
call is being run. To set up this feature, first create agencies for each
appropriate RAP club (on the "Setup" tab, click Call Taking Setup >
Agencies). Next, map the desired RAP clubs to the appropriate agencies (on
the "Setup" tab, click Messages Setup > Options > D/2000 > Mappings >
Club Types). When a new D/2000 RAP call comes in, the Agency field will
populate based on these mappings. The Agency field is then displayed on the
"Call Taking" and "Dispatch" tabs.
- Digital Dispatch now processes D/2000 calls
when the call is cleared, based on the clearing code provided. This is
useful in cases where a clearing code standing for a partial rate (those cases
where only part of the service was provided) is appropriate. The required
partial services must first be set up in CDBWin (on the Setup
menu, click Service). Next, in Digital Dispatch, on the "Setup" tab,
click Messages Setup > Options > D/2000 > Contract Stations. In the
continuous list, place the cursor on the appropriate contract station line
and click Clearing Code Defaults. Select a clearing code that stands
for a partial base rate. Select the corresponding service (one you created
with the appropriate partial base rate). When a call is cleared using the
clearing code in question, the default service will be replaced with the new
(partial base rate) default service. This functionality requires that the
partial base rate clearing codes first be mapped properly, usually during
initial D/2000 setup. (On the "Setup" tab, click Messages Setup > Options
> D/2000> Mappings > Clearing Codes.)
- The Print Call Info and Invoice reports, printed from the
"Call Taking" tab, now include the Bill To customer's state and ZIP code.
- Added Make, Model, Year and Color columns to the "Dispatch" tab.
- A reason code is now required when un-dispatching a D/2000 call. In
addition, if no reason code is provided, the call will not be un-dispatched
in Digital Dispatch.
- The user now has the option to apply a D/2000 Update code when clearing
a D/2000 call.
- Added a D/2000 code and default mapping for premium customer types so
that premium members can be identified as such. The note, "Premium Member,"
is added to the driver memo.
- The user may now specify a default update code for Tow
Destination changes on D/2000 calls (Setup > Messages Setup > Options >
D/2000 > Default Update Code).
- Cell ID on Employee Setup (in the "Setup" tab) has been expanded
to 20 characters.
- Added Vehicle Makes and Vehicle Models under Call
Taking Setup on the "Setup" tab.
- Added Locations under Location Setup on the "Setup" tab.
- The Call Services report no longer includes canceled calls,
therefore canceled calls no longer erroneously increase the service $
totals on the report.
- Added $ Collected column to the Bill To report.
- The vehicle count on the Lot Inventory report now includes
vehicles with a blank license plate number.
- Added Driver filter and One driver per page check box to
the Hours On-Call report (on the "Schedule" tab, click Hours
On-Call).
- The On-Call report view now displays line-up numbers up to 6 digits long
(on the "Schedule" tab, click
On-Call > View).
Version 1.4.0 - 6/8/2006
- Online help has been completely revised and upgraded. All features are now
covered in up-to-date detail with accompanying illustrations. Table of
Contents and F1 context-sensitivity are included.
- Clicking Print on the "Call Taking" tab displays two options,
Call Info and Invoice. Call Info is the report that users of
previous Digital Dispatch versions got when they clicked Print. It is essentially a printed display of the call record. Invoice,
which is new, is similar
to the Call Info report, but removes all comments entered through the tab
and displays the title, "Invoice" at the top, making it more suitable
for the customer's review.
- The "services provided" section of the "Call Taking" tab and the
Edit Service Line Items window that is accessed by clicking 10-98
on the "Dispatch" tab, now include a Service Totals button. This button
displays a list of services for the current call and provides an itemized
tax total for each. Select the service or services desired to see a dollar
total. Transfer the selected amount to $ Collected with the click of
a button.
- The Google Map to Destination functions that are part of Digital
Dispatch's GPS Locator (accessed by clicking the globe icon on the "Call
Taking" and Dispatch" tabs), can now read D/2000 destinations that include
~
and @ characters when such destinations are pasted into the Internet
browser address bar.
- When AAA calls are undispatched, the user is prompted for a reason code.
Previously this prompt displayed when the call was dispatched to a new
driver. At the time the call is undispatched, it is placed back in spot
status on the D/2000.
- A T-Code filter has been added to the Bill To report, so calls
and the amount charged on them can be quickly audited by trouble code (on
the "Reports" tab, click Bill To).
- Billed services preview and reprint reports (on the "Reports" tab, click
View Invoice, Print Invoice [Final], or Reprint Invoices), can now be filtered by
Date In and Receipt # in addition to Call #.
- Added an interval setting to the Time Taken report (on the "Reports"
tab, click Time Taken), that allows the user to change the time
increments (in minutes) for each displayed column. For example, 10
would result in report columns representing minute increments of 0-10,
11-20, 21-30, etc., while the number 20 would result in columns
representing minute increments of 0-20, 21-40, 41-60, etc.
- Double-clicking or pressing F4 in the Storage Lot box on the "Storage"
tab results in a display of the Storage Lots Maintenance window (which is
also available from the "Setup" tab).
- Calls dispatched by AAA from the D/2000 now include the Driver ID. This
helps keep accurate track of driver assignments when drivers change trucks
and a "live" dispatcher is unavailable (as in the case when the tower's
offices are closed). This feature functions on trucks equipped with MDTs.
- When a call is cleared by a driver in a truck equipped with the D/2000,
the clearing code will be sent to Digital Dispatch where it will appear
automatically in the appropriate call record on the "Call Taking" tab. This
is a convenient alternative to the dispatcher having to remember, at the
appropriate time, to make the effort to select the clearing code from a list
box on the "Call Taking" tab.
- D/2000 codes can now be requested from the new D/2000 interface. On the
"Setup" tab, click Setup > Message Options > D/2000 >
Mappings > Request Codes. Once this button is pressed, the
D/2000 codes will be transferred to Digital Dispatch.
- Text messages sent to Teletrac terminals can now contain up to 200
characters of text instead of 98 characters, the previous limit.
- The Club Tag Reconciliation Import feature (on the "Setup" tab, click
Club Tag Reconciliation > Import) now has a check box that allows
or prevents adding missing calls to Digital Dispatch (Add missing calls).
If the accompanying check box, Reconcile CDBWin A/R is selected,
Add missing calls is automatically disabled to prevent the
double-posting of call $ amounts. Without this disabling, missing calls
added to Digital Dispatch would get posted to CDBWin even though
Reconcile CDBWin A/R adds the missing call amount to the Overpaid
department as specified by the user, thus resulting in the $ amount for the
missing calls being added twice to the Bill To customer's account .
Version 1.3.9 - 3/6/2006
- Online help has been upgraded, including updated, expanded coverage of the
"Maintenance" tab.
- The Clearing Code list boxes in the "Call Taking" tab
and the 10-98
button of the "Dispatch" tab now display the code itself in
addition to its Description.
- In the Employee Setup feature of the "Setup" tab, a Cell ID box has been added
to accommodate Nextel-style phone ID
numbers.
- Calls that have been taken but not dispatched within an acceptable time
frame are now flagged by Digital Dispatch (on the "Dispatch" tab, the Time
In turns red). To set this time frame, on the "Setup" tab, click Dispatch Setup Options
> Undispatched Call Alert Time (min). The default is 5
minutes.
- A "GPS" tab has been added where Shop latitude and
Shop longitude can be typed into Digital Dispatch (on the "Setup" tab,
click Dispatch Setup Options
> GPS). This is used to enter the location of the towing
business, which can then be used to calculate the miles to GPS-enabled
trucks displaying in the Current Line-up list box of the "Dispatch"
tab. This is done using the following feature.
- Digital Dispatch now
has the capability to allow, in the "Call Taking" and "Dispatch" tabs, the copying
to the local machine's clipboard of the
location of a GPS-enabled truck (in Google Maps URL format). This can then be pasted into the address bar of a Web browser on the user's
local machine to perform one of six Google Maps-based locator functions.
Highlight the desired truck record, click any of several new buttons
displaying a globe and from the displayed list select one of the following:
- Directions from Truck to Location
- Directions from Truck to
Destination
- Directions from Location to Destination
- Goto Truck
- Goto Location
- Goto Destination
For this clear graphic representation of
location to function correctly, the truck must have a GPS unit and information must be sent and processed by Digital Dispatch.
The more complete the address, city and state information for the truck, the
more precise the results. - On the "Dispatch" tab, selecting a truck from
the Driver Line Up list box automatically copies a Google Maps URL to
the clipboard for the last known longitude/latitude of the selected truck
(this is like choosing the "Go to Truck" option for a truck on a call).
- Added Send New Comments to Driver feature (on the "Setup"
tab, click Messages Setup Options > D/2000 > Send New Comments to Driver).
If this check box is selected, Digital Dispatch sends comments
added to the call to the driver until it has been cleared. If it is left
unchecked, the comments are not sent.
- Added Send Service
Information to D/2000 feature (on the "Setup" tab, click Messages
Setup Options > D/2000 > Send Service Information to D/2000).
If this check box is selected, Digital Dispatch sends a services provided
message to the D/2000 when a call is cleared. If it is left unchecked, the
information is not sent.
- Added Qty Free box to Services
Mappings (on the "Setup" tab, click Messages Setup Options >
D/2000 > Mappings > Services). This feature defines the unit
quantity that is treated as free for specific services on the D/2000. The
Club is not billed for this quantity of services.
- The Calls From
date range on the "Call Taking" tab now allows the entry of invalid date
ranges, those with a begin date greater than the end date or an end date
greater than the begin date.
- Drivers that have multiple e-mail addresses
assigned for Send Method (through the Employee Setup part of
the "Setup" tab for drivers and through the Trucks feature of the
"Setup" tab for trucks) can now be identified correctly by and send
status updates successfully to Digital Dispatch for appropriate processing.
-
The Elapsed Times report now filters by Agency (on the "Reports" tab,
click Elapsed Times).
- The user can now select whether Canceled
Calls are included on the Bill To report (on the "Reports" tab,
click Bill To).
- Messages over 1,000 messages old are now purged
from the "New Messages" tab to improve system performance.
Version 1.3.8 - 01/17/2006
- All new D/2000 comments can now be e-mailed to a driver. Select the
Setup tab, Message Options, D/2000, Send New Comments
to Driver. Once this is done, the updated call information that is placed
in the Comments box of the Call Taking tab will be e-mailed to
the driver along with the call # and club call #. This ensures the driver will
not miss any comments related to the call, even when there is no dispatcher in
the office to communicate them.
- Cash or credit card amounts collected by the driver and received from the
D/2000 now display in the Cash Collected box of the Call Taking
tab. This helps clearly differentiate the customer pay from what needs to be
billed to the AAA account.
- An ending date has been added to the Call Taking tab, giving the
user the ability to view calls that fall between a particular date range.
Leaving the Ending Date box blank shows all calls subsequent to
the Beginning Date. If the Beginning Date and Ending Date
boxes are filled and left unchanged over a period of time, the date range
will remain constant, but will advance one day for each elapsed calendar day.
For example, if on 1/17/2006 the date range is set from 1/10/2006 to
1/17/2006, on the next calendar day, 1/18/2006, the day range will
automatically display from 1/11/2006 to 1/18/2006.
- On the Call Taking tab, entering an Appointment time with no
date (time only) will default to the Date In of the call.
- Boxes for Location and Destination ZIP Code have been
re-added to the Call Taking tab.
- For added convenience, the Location Maintenance feature on the
Call Taking tab, (accessed by double-clicking or pressing F4 in either the Location or
Destination boxes) contains a button that allows you to Add Current
Location and a button that allows you to Add Current Destination
(as displayed in the Call Taking tab) right into the Locations
Maintenance list.
- In an effort to better synchronize information between Digital Dispatch
and the D/2000:
- On the Dispatch tab, selecting a call and clicking Un10-97
(removing it from "On Location" status) places the call into
Dispatched status on the D/2000.
- On the Dispatch tab, selecting a call and clicking
UnDispatch places the call into Spot status on the D/2000.
- On the Dispatch tab, changing a driver updates the truck and
driver assignment on the D/2000 (for versions that can support it).
- On the Dispatch tab, the Time In for calls reaching
10-8 (in route) status within the current Unserviced Call Alert Time,
displays in red. To set Unserviced Call Alert Time, on the Setup tab,
click Dispatch Options, and type in an Unserviced Call Alert
Time in minutes (the default is 10).
- The call Receipt #, if one exists for the call, now posts into the PO
# field of the CDBWin sales transaction window (on the Daily Work
menu, click Sales/Receivables, Sales tab) if there is no PO # for
the call. If no Receipt # or PO # is available for the call, the Club Station
ID will post into this field. If there is no Club Station ID available, the
field is left blank on the sales record.
- The sort options Status and Bill To have been added to the
Storage Out report (on the Reports tab, click Storage Out and
select from the Sort Order drop-down list).
- The sort criteria Trouble Code has been added to the Call
Comments report (on the Reports tab, click Comments,
and select from the T-Code drop-down list). IN addition, this
report now allows the user to see any battery serial # information they typed
in the comments for AAA club transactions.
- Added Bill To, PO# and Cash Collected fields to the
Call Services report (on the Reports tab, click Call
Services). Also added the following sort criteria: Truck, Driver
and Bill To. One other sort criteria, the Cash Calls only?
- Added Call Location and Destination fields to the Club
Tag Reconciliation report (on the Reports tab, click Club Tag
Reconciliation).
Version 1.3.7 - 08/11/2005
- Call taker can now enter the amount of money a driver collects from a customer on club calls
(the portion of the call the club will not pay for). When this call is posted to CDBWin the $
Collected portion will post over as cash and the rest of the call will be posted to the Bill To as a charge.
- Call # and club call # are now displayed in red to make them stand out more.
- A DEL message from the D/2000 now cancels the call by default since the call was moved to a
different contractor. The Cancel line in New Messages still shows up for notification purposes.
- Added an option for a consolidated dispatching screen where all open calls are listed together.
The new format and the old three section format can be switched between by going to Setup, Dispatch
Setup, Options, Use Consolidated Dispatching Screen.
Version 1.3.6 - 07/27/2005
- Added option to the Setup tab, the Messages Setup group box,
Options, the D/2000 tab to use the time a new call is sent to Digital Dispatch for
the Date In instead of the time the AAA dispatcher received the call.
- Vehicle year from D/2000 is now imported as 4 digits instead of 2.
- Added Caller Name to all three sections of the Dispatch tab.
- Call PO # is now placed in the CDBWin Sale's PO # box. If the call
PO # is blank, then the Contract Station ID is placed in the PO # box on the sale.
- Sorting by the Truck column on the Not Dispatched section of the
Dispatch tab no longer prevents the user from selecting a truck on a call.
- Can now type up to 255 characters in driver e-mail address. This is useful when you want to send
messages to multiple e-mail addresses (separate each e-mail address with a
semi-colon [;]).
- Can now put a driver on storage line items which will post over to CDBWin
Sale's line items for commission purposes.
- Calls that were printed on an invoice with one Bill To ID and are later changed will now continue
to show up on reprinted invoices for the Bill To ID

- When an appointment call is dispatched, the Date In box is now set to the same date/time
as the Dispatched box as long as the Date In value is less than the Appointment
date/time. This way the Elapse time box on the Dispatch tab does not show a huge number
because several days have passed since the appointment was made and when the call is posted to CDBWin
it will post with the date the call was dispatched instead of the date when the appointment was made.
- The Cancel, UnDispatch and Un10-97 buttons no longer need to be double-clicked
to perform the action. They now pop up a confirmation box after a single click.

of the vehicle. Also added room for the customer to date their signature on the invoice.

date to show all calls since a date. Internally the number of days between the date specified and the
current date is saved so each day the Calls Since date will increment by one.

- Extended amount of service line items is now always rounded to 2 decimal places so there is not a
difference of a penny or two between Digital Dispatch and CDBWin.

tab, the Dispatch Setup group box, Options (only needed for new customer setups).

the information sent to a driver using e-mail. Known AAA types are setup by default (Plus, RV and Tow Rider).

sent to the D/2000 when a call is cleared (the Setup tab, the Messages Setup group box,
Options, the D/2000 tab, Mappings, the Services tab).

D/2000 clearing codes by default. Clearing codes can be added/edited/deleted from
Maintenance, Clearing Codes.
- Added a feature where a list of agencies that a driver is not allowed to run calls for
can be added to a driver on the Maintenance tab. If a dispatcher tries to dispatch
a call with an agency on it that the driver isn’t allowed to run calls for, the dispatcher
will be notified by the system to pick a different driver. Also in Maintenance, Agencies
a new check has been added to specify which agencies should be defaulted to restricted for any
new drivers that are added in the future.
- Non D/2000 calls no longer prompt for a reason why they are being re-dispatched to
a second driver.

that a truck has been assigned to a call without actually dispatching the call to the driver yet.
- Added Copy button on Call Taking tab that will copy the common information from the
current call to a new call.
- When sending messages longer than 98 characters to a Teletrac eClient unit, Digital

in the Call Back # box. To set, click the Maintenance tab,
Dispatching, and clear the Default Area Code box.
- Added interface to USAC.
- Added Location and Destination Cross Street boxes to the Call
Taking tab.
- Added the Always expense entire original call when posting? check box
to the Maintenance tab, Storage. When this check box is selected, the
entire original call amount will always be added to bad debt and a new sale for the entire
storage amount will be created to the setup storage departments. This way if tax needs to
be collected on the storage total (such as in Nevada), the storage and posted amounts will always
stay equal to each other.
- If Miles to Call and Tow Miles are returned from D/2000, Digital Dispatch now places
those values in the truck odometer readings.

tabs. Turning this option off for a user/group prevents them from editing any information on

tabs should now be more reliable when there are a lot of records on the Call Taking tab.

by default.

if the field is blank and no 10-98 time has been set yet.
- Elapsed Time report nows shows time in hour:minute format instead of minutes or hours with a
decimal. Also added average times to report.

to work over one who is not scheduled.
- Added incoming e-mail mapping that will allow a driver to send an e-mail to Digital Dispatch to change
the truck they are currently in.
Click the Maintenance tab, Messaging, the E-Mail tab, Actions.

box, type Change Truck. Have the driver send an e-mail
