2004 Focus Group Held at SSCS
Salinas, CA (June 4, 2004) -– The 2004 Focus Group was
attended by selected customers from around the country. They represented over 200 stations that provide solutions in the C-Store,
Auto Repair, Wholesale and Retail petroleum industries. The customers use the Computerized Daily Book (CDB) version 7.3.6,
Home Office, Central Price Book, Fuel Marketer, EDI, DSD/Physical Inventory, Payroll and G/L on traditional and
Sunray-ASP platforms.
The first day of the conference was used to familiarize everyone with the many advanced features of the
Computerized Daily Book (CDB) Version 7.3.6. This prepared the users for the preview of Version 7.3.7.
That evening the group assembled at one of Monterey’s fine restaurants for a relaxing evening of
dining. Many stories were shared by the diverse group of users.
 The conference continued through June 4. Various Engineers and
Marketing representatives from SSCS previewed features in Version 7.3.7 including Work Force Management,
CDB Corporate Edition, Alerts, Budgets and many new and exciting features.
The Open Forum portion of the conference is always an exciting time. We get to learn what
the customers really need, and they get a glimpse of the future direction of SSCS. While our research has
identified many of the features needed, nobody knows better than the customers.
